The Isle of Man Airport is ten minutes from Ballavere Cottage and currently enjoys flights to and from Heathrow, Gatwick and London City.
Provincial airports include, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Dublin, Edinburg and Belfast.

Heysham Port in Lancashire operates twice daily sailings with the Ben my Chree (below) both to and from the Isle of Man. 
Heysham is just a few miles west of Junction 34 on the M6.​​​​​​​
The Manannan fast craft operates twice daily during the summer season from Liverpool's Pier Head to the Isle of Man.
